Common Questions

We’ve Got Answers.

Everything you need to know before listing your location on Forreels.

What experience do I need?

+

Prior set coordination, scouting, or PA work helps. Show sample docs (notices, parking plans) and references; city knowledge is a plus.

How does verification work?

+

We review your profile, ID, and references. After a short onboarding check, you’re approved and appear in Location Manager searches.

Do I need insurance (COI)?

+

Every booking requires a production COI naming the owner. Some jobs also request site-rep coverage; we flag requirements before you confirm.

How do I set rates and zones?

+

You define day rate, OT, mileage/kit, and travel zones. Rates show on quotes and can be adjusted per job before the booking is locked.

When do I get paid?

+

Funds sit in escrow and release after wrap on set dates—typically 2–5 days. Reimbursements pay with the job once receipts are approved.

Who handles permits?

+

You lead permits using our city notes and templates. Fees are added to the quote for producer approval, with deadlines tracked in app.

Are deposits required?

+

Yes—damage deposits are held on every booking. You never collect cash; deposit and COI must be active before the call sheet goes out.

What if something goes wrong on set?

+

Log an incident with photos. We coordinate with the producer; deposit and COI support the claim so issues resolve quickly and fairly.

Can I manage multiple locations?

+

Yes—add many properties and track rules, holds, and calendars separately. Your profile lists zones you cover and typical job types.

How do cancellations or holds work?

+

Policies are shown before confirmation. Hold fees and kill fees follow the listing’s terms, and escrow automates any refunds.
